NTA NEET 2019: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 will be conducted on May 5 by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

According to reports, the application correction process for the NEET UG 2019 is expected to begin next week on the official website, the link for which is ntaneet.nic.in

Meanwhile, the registration process for NEET UG was held between November and December 2018.

NTA to conduct competitive exams:

Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) used to conduct this exam and now NTA has been given this responsibility.

This is the first time that NEET is being conducted by NTA which is a newly formed body by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).

Paper Pattern of NEET 2019

Total Number of questions: 180

Type of questions: 180 objective type questions (four options with the single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen provided at examination center only.

Total marks: 720

Timings of the paper: 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm

  • Application correction process: January 14 (expected)
  • Admit cards: April 15
  • Exam date: May 5
