HP officially debuts what it calls the “world’s thinnest laptop,” introducing the sleek and powerful Spectre 13.

HP Inc has unveiled a new premium laptop that the company claims is the world’s thinnest at just 10.4mm, while still offering the performance of Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors along with a claimed all-day battery life, making it an attractive option for mobile executives.

Gorilla Glass will protect the display, while a hybrid battery promises to provide up to nine and a half hours of battery life on a single charge. The Spectre 13 also features three USB Type-C ports, and two of those also support Thunderbolt so users can connect the laptop to top-notch monitors.

“A beautiful Full HD edge-to-edge display, Intel Core i processors coupled with Bang & Olufsen sound and a impressive thin design, HP amazing engineers set a new standard with the all new Spectre.”

HP describes the Spectre as being “more artisan than manufactured” in a promo video. The 13.3in Full HD display is bonded directly to a Gorilla Glass 4 layer for protection, a move that makes the display brighter.
