BatBand is a way to listen to music without speakers. Instead, of sending sound vibrations through bones in your head and directly into the parts of the ear that register sound. It’s called Bone Conduction Technology by StudioBananaThings. It also plans to use it to make headphones that don’t leak sound and don’t block outside noise so you can remain aware while listening to music or on a phone call.

How does this BatBand Work?

BATBAND works via bone conduction, consisting of transducers that emit sound waves perceived by your “private” inner ear, thus freeing your “social” outer ear. Sound waves are transmitted at a frequency that can be conducted through the bones of the skull. Your ears remain free, therefore you get to hear twice as much, without compromising on comfort, quality or style.
