Today, Xiaomi just launched in Beijing the unbelievably thin Mi TV 3S 65” Curve, which is 5.9mm thin (for your reference, the incredibly thin Mi Note is 6.95mm). It is Xiaomi’s first TV to have a curved surface.
Mi TV 3 with 4K display in China, in October last year, Xiaomi has now launched two new TVs. Called the Mi TV 3S, it is available in two variants – one with a 43-inch full HD (1080p) display, and other with a 65-inch curved display.
The Mi TV 3S 43-inch is equipped with LG’s full HD LCD display. The display is encased in an ultra-thin metal body and frame that measures 10.9mm. Under the hood, it is powered by an Mstar 6A908 flagship full HD TV chip along with home-brew edge backlight technology. The TV also features Dolby and DTS audio with dual decoding technology for offering a good audio experience. The Mi TV 3S 43-inch is priced at RMB 1,799 in China, which roughly translates to Rs 18,600 in India.
Xiaomi also introduced its first TV with a curved display. Called as Mi TV 3S 65-inch, it sports a Samsung made curved display panel. Sporting a 5.9mm ultra-thin metal body, it is powered by an Mstar 6A928 flagship processor. The TV also comes with Dolby and DTS audio with dual decoding technology. Priced at RMB 8,999 (approximately Rs 92,600), Xiaomi is also offering Mi TV bar with an independent 6-piece sound system with the TV.
