The 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air is priced at 3,499 Yuan, which is Rs 35,300 approximately. The bigger 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air, on the other hand, is priced at 4,999 Yuan, which is Rs 50,400 approximately.

The Mi Notebook Air sports a thin full-metal body, and Xiaomi says that the laptop has been put through a Borax anodized process. Surprisingly the laptops do not come with any branding on the top. In order to let users a play a little with the look of the laptop, Xiaomi has launched a few leather sleeves and laptop skins for both the variants to enable personalizing the device.

Both Mi Notebook Air variants feature a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with edge-to-edge glass protection that prevents discoloration when touching the screen. Under the hood, the 12.5-inch variant features an Intel Core M3 processor with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 128GB SATA SSD with expandable SSD slot. The 13.3-inch variant, on the other hand, features an Intel Core i5 sixth generation processor, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX GPU, 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 256GB SSD with expandable SSD slot.

The Mi Notebook Air is quite portable, and boasts enough battery life that won’t have users running to a plug point every few hours. Xiaomi claims that the battery on the 12.5-inch variant is good enough to last up to 11.5 hours on a single charge, while the battery on the 13.3-inch variant is good enough for up to 9.5 hours. The battery can also be recharged quickly, and in just 30 minutes one will be able to recharge up to 50 percent of the battery.
