WhatsApp to get group invitation control feature soon: Testing begins in Android Beta version

A recent report has disclosed that WhatsApp is testing the group invitation control feature in Android. Through this new feature, the users will be able to decide who can add them to a group. Users will now be able to avoid being added to a WhatsApp group without their permission. This new feature is coming with the three levels of control to the users over becoming WhatsApp group members.

The group invitation control feature is in the testing phase in the WhatsApp beta update. The feature is under development and is not available to all members of the WhatsApp beta programme for Android.

WhatsApp always keeps adding new features to its platform on a regular basis just to keep users entertained and engaged to the instant messaging app. This messaging app has over 1.3 billion users all over the world. This new feature through which no one will be able to add you to a WhatsApp group without your permission is going to make this app more popular among the users across the globe.

The testing of the feature is in a very early stage, so we don’t know exactly that when this feature will be available publically. Once this feature rolls out to your devices then you will be able to activate it via simple steps. The new WhatsApp feature will be available at WhatsApp Settings > Account > Privacy > Groups.
