LG G6 introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2017 , a phone whose greatest virtue is to have a large screen that fits in the palm of our hand.
It has a full vision display panel of 5.7 inches , which allows a multitasking specially designed for the use of social networks, videos and other tasks that we commonly perform in our devices. It also has a metal frame that allowed the development of this section with an unusual ratio of 18: 9 with QHD + resolution of 564 dpi, including a Dolby Vision HDR 10 system , which greatly improves the image quality in the device, transforming it into a terminal Ideal for watching videos and playing video games in a good way.
It is powered by a quad-core 821 Snapdragon processor with Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, internal 32GB and 64GB it can be expandable to 2TB via microSD , dual rear camera 13 MP and front 8MP, battery is 3,300 MAh and Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
LG G6 is that it is the first team to bring Google Assistant out of the Google Pixel, which brings a lot of new features and functionality to this device. The LG G6 supports Dolby Vision and HDR 10 for the content output. Dolby Vision is the new technology and this phone will be the first to have it. According to Dolby, Amazon and Netflix will start streaming movies and TV shows to mobiles in Dolby Vision, and that will be first in the LG G6.
As for content, any Dolby Vision-compatible titles currently available on Netflix and Amazon Video will be available at launch on the LG G6. In total, 85 Hollywood titles and nearly 100 hours of TV programming is available across all streaming partners, including Vudu.
At its launch, the LG G6 will also be compatible with HDR 10, the rival format to Dolby Vision. Although the formats are similar, there are some differences. Devices compatible only with Dolby Vision can display content developed in HDR 10, but the opposite is not true: devices with only HDR 10 don’t transmit Dolby Vision content. In addition, Dolby Vision offers more luminosity per square meter, but this is only noticeably in few devices. When it hit the market, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was the first phone with HDR 10.
LG G6 Match Shot (FrontBack):
The mobile app created an interesting photo format with two square-ish pictures to share what you have in front of you and a selfie. LG implemented a Frontback feature into the new G6 called “Match Shot.”
LG G6 Other features:
- The fingerprint sensor is located on the back of the phone, just below the dual cameras, and it is the same that can work as the power button.
- IP68 certification – The LG G6 can withstand underwater in a depth of up to five feet and for about 30 minutes.
- The LG G6 buyers will be able to enjoy gaming on a bunch of games optimized to run well on the large screen.
- The phone has a 3300 mAh non removable battery. A heat pipe is also provided to keep the temperature under control when extensive tasks are going on in the device.
- There is support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The LG G6 will be available in three colors – Mystic White, Astro Black, and Ice Platinum.
The LG G6 is going to release on March 10th and the company is setting March 2nd to 9th as the pre-order time for the device.
