Former captain Ganguly still hopes to win the series of India …

New Delhi. Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has expressed confidence of winning the series by returning to Australia’s remaining two Tests, defending the team which lost the second Test in Perth from Australia.

India had won the first Test against Australia in Adelaide but lost by 146 runs in the second match and the two teams are currently on a 1-1 draw in the four-match series. India will now play for the third Babbage Day Test in Melbourne on December 26.

After a disappointing performance in Perth, the Indian team, with a big margin, is on the target of critics but former captain Ganguly has expressed confidence in the Virat Kohli-led side. Ganguly wrote on the social networking site: “There are lots of things going on in the media especially in the Australian media series, look at India against Australia … Now we have two Tests and India can win both of these matches. Do not go all the way forward. ”

Not only did India lose the second Test in Perth but it was also discussed in the discussions between captain Captain Virat Kohli and Tim Penn. In this match, Virat’s behavior has been criticized not only abroad but also in the country. However, apart from Virat’s fans, many experts have defended the aggression of the Indian captain as it is right.

Virat and team management have also faced criticism regarding their selection decisions to lose the Perth Test. In the last match where the Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon was the Man of the Match, the Indian captain sent four fast bowlers and the experienced left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja had not given a chance in the last eleven.

The world’s number one Test team, dreaming of making history by winning the first Test series on Australian soil, will win the remaining two Tests in Melbourne and Sydney to win the series for India. Agency
