Flyte is a globe that hovers freely above its base, offering a unique way to light up a room.

However, there is one thing which has always been associated, or considered synonymous with magic; that thing is “Flying”, or what we call as “Levitation”.  Simon Morris from Stockholm, had always had a fascination towards ‘levitation’, which ultimately led him to pursue a career which involved, among other things, making things fly; and no, he was not a pilot; but did something as cool as that.

Flyte gives gravity a break, and presents an experience of something surreal, that appears suspended in time.The bulb comes with a wooden base, which consists of a wireless power transmitter and another electromagnet. You place the bulb on the base and release it slowly.

The bulb will rise and settle into position, and after that it will keep rotating, like a classic symbol of ‘idea’. The bulb gets power directly from the charger block it hovers above, through a contact less capacitive touch switch. You just need to tap the base to turn the light on or off.

Moreover, the wooden base can also be used as a wireless charging pad for your smartphone, through a special phone cover. The complete functioning product would be simply amazing and magical, hovering over your reading table.
