Xiaomi has introduced the Mi 4s, an upgraded version of the Mi 4 smartphone. The announcement comes shortly before the launch of the Mi 5. Key highlights of the smartphone are metal frame, glass panel on the back and front, and fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone has a 5-inch full HD display with 441 ppi. It runs MIUI 7 based on Android Marshmallow and is powered Snapdragon 808 processor and Adreno 418 GPU. It is available in 16GB and 64GB variant, and supports microSD for additional storage.
The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, PDAF, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Mi 4s is powered by a 3260mAh battery and supports Quick Charging. Other important features of the smartphone include fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM support and 4G LTE with VoLTE.
The Mi 4s is the follow up to the Mi 4, which launched in India last year. The Xiaomi Mi 4 has comes with 5-inch full HD display. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor along with 3GB of RAM. It is available in 16GB and 64GB variant. Other important features of the Mi 4 include 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera, and 3,080 mAh battery.
The Mi 4s is priced at 1699 Yuan, which is approximately Rs 18,000.
