Moto G5 Plus Launched for Rs.14,999 on Flipkart. Earlier Moto G5 plus was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2017 Barcelona, Spain a month ago. All things considered, Lenovo hasn’t changed the specs of the phone, and it highlights an indistinguishable specs from the worldwide variant. Moto G5 Plus comes with a metallic body and packs much better specifications than its predecessor.
All these comes with a slightly higher price tag of Rs. 14,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs. 16,999 for the 4GB RAM variant. It comes only in two color options – Lunar Gray and Fine Gold.
Moto G5 Plus Specifications:
The Moto G5 Plus comes with a compact 5.2-inch full HD IPS display, with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and has a pixel density of 424 PPI. On the front, it has a loudspeaker on the top followed by the display and then the fingerprint sensor at the bottom. It has a shiny chrome border running around the front edge of the phone.
The Moto G5 Plus is backed by 12 MP rear camera with dual LED flash as well as Full HD video recording. Others features include 8X digital zoom for photos, 4X for video recording, professional mode, burst mode. On the front, we will get a 5 MP camera with a f/2.2 aperture.
Under the hood, the Moto G5 Plus powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 2.0 GHz octa-core CPU and 650 MHz Adreno 506 GPU. The device packed with two variants 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal storage. However, we can expand memory upto 128GB through microSD card. The battery on the Moto G5 Plus is a 3,000mAh unit which sounds decent and has become a very common capacity.

The Google Photos app will be the default Gallery app on this device. The square shaped fingerprint sensor on the front is now replaced with a big oval shaped sensor.
Moto also offers Turbo Charging which is claimed to offer 6 hours of battery backup on a 15-minute charge.
It also supports gestures as seen on the Lenovo’s ZUK smartphones that can replace the on-screen navigation buttons. The user can swipe left to open recent apps and right to go back.
As the device include NFC, the Moto G5 Plus can be used for mobile payment services like Android Pay and Samsung Pay Mini, once they are launched here in India.
