Lenovo’s K4 phablet is priced at Rs 11,999, and it will be available in Tuxedo Black color via a flash sale on Amazon India on January 19. Registrations already started. Unlike most smartphones available in this range, Lenovo’s K4 Note boasts a metallic body, fingerprint scanner and dual front facing speakers. Lenovo will also introduce customization options for the K4 Note including five wood-finished back covers.

The K4 Note will feature front-facing speakers and retain the 5.5-inch Full HD display seen on K3. The phablet is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor and packs 3GB of DDR3 RAM for seamless multitasking. There’s a fingerprint sensor at the back, and the phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
Another highlight of the device is the front dual speaker designed by Dolby Atmos. “We expect the proportion will continue to grow in the future and the expectations of newer, more sophisticated functionalities along with it. There is 16GB internal storage that can be expanded by up to 128GB via microSD card.
It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor along with an LED flash and phase-detection autofocus technology and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor with a fixed-focus lens. Also, the Chinese company has partnered with ANT VR to launch a special VR headset for the new smartphone. For connectivity the phone has 4G, WiFI, WiFi Direct and Bluetooth 4.1. The phablet is juiced by a 3,300mAh battery and should help the phone last one whole day with medium to heavy usage.
