Landr analyzes the music you upload and creates a ‘mastered’ version. Basically, in the web interface you can upload your own sound track by drag and drop then, Landr automatically creates master version. That means, it gives you bit more louder version that the original sound which you dropped. I found the results are surprising, interesting, impressive!
The system uses “artificial intelligence”, according to the About page:
MixGenius incubated and refined algorithms developed over eight years of university research, testing and tweaking based on feedback from trained audio experts. Our team is composed of music industry veterans – award winning mixing engineers, top-level DSP programmers, musicians, producers and label owners – who know exactly what the mastering process needs to deliver.
Difference Between Mixing and Mastering
MIXING
Mixing is all about getting individual parts or instruments to work as a song. Think of it like building a car. All the parts of the car need to come together for it to run properly. The mixdown process is all about making sure all the parts are in place.

Landr Works
After mastering with Landr here is the difference it is easy to hear. Check out Echosmith’s unmastered and mastered track.
While the app itself is a free download, all this processing is going to require a paid subscription. Landr costs between $6 and $39 per month when paid for monthly, or between $4 and $25 per month when you pay annually, depending on the resolution of audio you want.
