Here’s what happened when an IIT guy tried to sell himself on Flipkart for Rs 27 lakh! In an innovative move to apply for a job at Flipkart an IIT Kharagpur student tried to sell himself on the e-commerce website.
When applying for a job, the CV is probably one of the most important aspects. Trying to add a bit of creative flair, a student from IIT Kharagpur named Aakash Neeraj Mittal found a unique way to apply for a vacancy. Hoping to land a job in Flipkart as a product manager, he tried to sell himself on the e-commerce site itself for Rs 27 lakh.
According to Harsh Bajaj, a junior studying in the same institute said on Quora after pointing out Mittal’s CV on Flipkart that when you are a 6-pointer and competing with the best of the best minds of the country, you know how hard it is to land a job. He added that you start some crazy and random stuff to stand out from the crowd. However, despite the creative attempt of Mittal, he did not receive any interview call from the company, he still hopes his creativity can definitely cheer someone.
