On the specifications front, Amazfit comes with a 1.34-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 300 pixels and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor,512MB of RAM, 280mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0BLE + Wi-Fi and a sufficient 4GB of internal storage. There’s also a dedicated heart rate monitor on the back which is capable of constantly keeping track of your heart’s paces. Moreover, keeping the region-specific target audience in mind, Xiaomi has also included on-the-go Alibaba’s mobile payment service, AliPay.

The Amazfit smartwatch sports a circular design with bezels made from ceramic, making it scratch resistant. It is equipped with a built-in GPS, which would make fitness tracking easier — allowing users to keep a track of their distance covered during activities such as running or jogging.

In terms of battery life, Amazfit can last up to five days on a single charge, although, with GPS mode turned on all the time, battery life cuts back to 35 hours. If you’re merely tracking steps, Xiaomi claims that Amazfit can go up to 11.6 days. All the logged activities and workouts will be synced with the MiFit app installed on your smartphone.

But similar to other smartwatches, this one is likely to connect with smartphones via Bluetooth.
